The natural haritages of New Zealand and Japan



I researched the heritages of New Zealand and Japan.
New Zealand has 3 heritages. First, New Zealand has Te Wahipounamu. Te Wahipounamu is the area of nature and the natural heritage. Te Wahipounamu means the production center of jade in Maoli. Te Wahipounamu has Mt. Cook, and, the shore has Milford Sound. Milford Sound is the fiord. They are very beatiful! Second, New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands. New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands are the natural heritages, too. There are many animals, especially, there are 126 kind of birds. Entering it is restricted hard to maintain the ecological system. Third, Tongariro National Park. Tongariro National Park is the compound heritage. It has Mt.Ruapehu, Mt. Ngauruhoe, and, Mt. Tongariro. Mt. Tongariro has the lake of the volcano. It is emerald green.
In Japan, there are many heritages. I'm going to introduce 3 heritages in this blog. First, Yaku island. Yaku island is the south island. It is the natural heritage. It has the Yaku cedar. Yaku cedar has been living for 2,000 years. It is longer than ordinary cedars. Yaku island is the area of laying eggs for the carettas. Second, Himeji castle. Himeji castle is the cultural heritage. It is called Hakuro castle, too. THere is it in Hyogo prefecture. It was built before the Edo period, and, it is very the beautiful castle. Third, Horyu temple. Horyu temple is the cultural heritage. There is it in Nara prefecture. It was built in 607. It is divided 2 parts. The West house and the East house. The West house has the gold hall and the five-storied pagoda, and, the east house has the dream hall. Horyu temple is the oldest wooden building around the world.
